Yard Sale What?!

It’s that time of year again and I could not be happier. Went to my first one this past Saturday and got my friend a little recipe book. No big deal. For 2 dollars. No big deal.

Well here are some garage sales coming up in the Elk Valley this coming weekend (as I find more, I’ll add to this list) :

  1. It’s a good idea! I was actually thinking of doing that a couple days ago…but I haven’t had the time to get it started. I’ll definitely try and get it going in the next while…but that could mean in the next week, month, 6 months…ha!

  2. Does this mean your blog may become the clearing house for garage sales (and must-attend events)?
    Speaking of which, what do you think of hosting the go-to place for people to secure a good date for events? And basically reserve that spot for their target audience. Example: an organization I belong to sets a date in January every year for its annual coffee party/ fashion show. Then by the time the date rolls around there are usually at least a couple other events set for the same evening. (BTW I’m talking about the Cancer Society event which has been held at the end of March for decades!) Too bad people are forced make choices. smalltownsocial could help prevent/sort that out. Right?
