Confessions Of A Lazy Person : Keeping A Schedule

My running partner works hard on keeping me on our schedule and I try to do the same for her. Life gets messy sometimes! Kids get sick, I get sick, the weather gets ugly, I want to watch The Last Man On Earth, I ate too much dinner and on and on. I have a lot of good reasons not to do things and sometimes they’re legit and other times they’re lazy. One thing I have managed to do is find a place that I feel comfortable indoors so at least the weather can’t be an excuse.

Vitality Body and Mind Fernie BCVitality, where I started taking Pilates, was offering child minding in trade for memberships and I just don’t have the time for that so I thought about a post from a few weeks ago – Fernie and Social Media – and put a new trade idea on the table. Membership for a social media specialist & graphic designer. And so, that’s what I’ve been doing when it’s raining or when my running partner is unable to get out for a run. I was pretty adamant about not going to a gym but once I got the access number and walked into an empty (late at night) Vitality, I was sold! I loved going to a place where I wasn’t being watched (I didn’t know what I was doing) and I just felt so relaxed. When I’m there I run on the treadmill, drink some water, take some pictures, learn about the place (to showcase those things on social media), take a shower and head home.

Now I just need to stop getting sick.
