You can’t just go to Cranbrook with the kids on a sunny day! We had the day to do whatever we liked to we chose to do a picnic at Tie Lake and then continue on to the big city of Cranbrook. Tie Lake is just a couple minutes off the hwy (around Jaffrey area) and it has a perfect public beach area (although, I could do with less goose poo). Because it’s early in the season, no one was there. A whole park to ourselves. Don’t mind if I do.
And then there’s Cranbrook. We have a few spots we like to frequent – Fabricland, Superstore, Cranbook Photo & Art Store and usually sushi but this time we tried out Taco Time Cantina. We end up taking trips to Superstore now because our oldest is interested in Lobsters these days. I don’t know why. Superstore has live lobsters and you should have seen her face when I brought her to the lobster and crab tanks. She was speechless. Thanks, Cranbrook!
