Entrepreneurial Tech [ETech] Meet-up, Fernie

Entrepreneur Tech Meeting at Loaf with Birr and Phil Gadd

Entrepreneurial Tech [ETech] Meet-up for Fernie. Kick’s off on the 31st January 2018 at The Loaf.

The basic idea for this meet-up is to meet once a month, with a speaker at the top of the evening. Discussing anything related to business, entrepreneurship and technology. This will be followed by beer and networking or visa vera!

I am going to start with a talk titled ‘The formula for success’ [by Sylvia Jenkins] and this will be followed by Jude Smith and Kyle Hamilton, owners of local start up marketing agency will give a short insight into how they dreamt up The Fernie Elf as a way to launch birr, and will explain how they took it from social media into the mainstream to an audience of millions.

This event isn’t just for tech companies but anyone who uses technology in their business, which should be any start-up or Fernie business owner, solopreneur or anyone thinking of starting something but hasn’t got it off the ground yet.

The purpose of this is to celebrate, uncover and discuss all things entrepreneurial and hopefully make new connections and learn a few things along the way. Come for the talk or turn up after to socialise with other local entrepreneurs.”
