From the event page “With balloons, bubbles, dancing and more, this festival will offer hours of fun for the whole family, plus include inspiring live performances and engaging kid crafts, sprinklers, crafts, and piles of circus inspired fun.
This event is brought to you by the Fernie Heritage Library, and Fernie Mountain Market.”
I had the pleasure of vending back-to-back with Hop & Flop this past weekend at Market Collective. Jenny has a wide range of products from cards and cat colouring books to wrapping paper and hand painted magnets all featuring her brilliant illustrations. You should check her stuff out!
We had a such a fun weekend in Fernie, I forgot to post on Small Town Social! That’s what happens when the sun comes out and the kids want to be outside from morning to night.
This next weekend is going to fly by just as quickly. Griz Days are upon us.
I’m not going to list all the events going on in Fernie next weekend because there is this really informative website called ferniegrizdays.com which will making your planning a breeze.
Highlights for us: Dummy Downhill, Craft Fair and the Parade. We will try and watch the fireworks and maybe participate in the scavenger hunt but the rest will be bonus if we see or participate in them. Time flies when you’re having fun.
“We are putting out a plea for orders today. Things have been SUPER slow for this order and we’re asking for your help. We’re thinking Christmas bills came in 😉
If you love fresh veggies and buying locally made products, please choose us!
Everyone goes grocery shopping, why not choose a locally owned, small family business to buy from?? We love our customers, old and new, and would love the opportunity to show them how much! 🤗
We are making the transition into a bigger shop (yay) to accommodate our customers better, and to have more leg room. With growth comes extra expense, so we’re hoping our community will help us with this buy choosing us for their next shop. 💜
Please share and don’t hesitate to check out our website to see what we have! kootenayfarmtofolk.com”
I want to stay connected to my town. I want to be part of the community and share all that I find and see. There’s more to me than just where I live, though, I like to write about other things that I experience, such as, reading, music, painting and travelling. Thanks for visiting STS!
