Once my daughter starts on something, it’s way on. When dragons entered her life, there was no turning back to ponies or unicorns. Dragons is all that matters now! I do wonder what will come next. Fruit, perhaps.

The Arts Station’s Mini Banner Project For Kids 5-12 Years Old
hiThe Arts Station is planning on decorating their newly renovated space with some amazing kids’ mini banners and I think it’s a great idea. My daughter has completed her banner and is excited for me to remember posting it in the mail.
It’s quite simple, if your kids are interested in participating.
You just head to this page and download the banner template. Print it. Fill it out. Draw on it. Mail it back. The only tricky thing is if you don’t have a printer at home, this will add an extra step. If you don’t have one, just send me an email and I can print a copy for you, as long as you come pick it up from my house!
It’s due June 20, so there’s still a good chunk of time to get it done.

Celebrating Fernie Women – Courtney Haeusler
I don’t personally know Courtney but I do know many families who have enrolled their kids in Outdoor Connections’ forest school and have loved it. Courtney started and leads (with a team of amazing women) this amazing forest school so kids can get outside and connect with nature, learn some skills and feel comfortable exploring in the wild, in all types of weather. How lucky are our valley kids to have this option?!
Follow Courtney and her team, as they play and explore outdoors, on Instagram or find out more about Outdoor Connections and all the other programs that are offered.
