Are you and your family prepared in the event of an emergency or natural disaster? As part of National Emergency Preparedness Week, Fernie Fire Rescue will be hosting an Open House on May 9. The goal of the event is to help you make sure you have the tools to keep your family safe in the event of emergency. Stop by the Fire Hall to learn more about the risks specific to Fernie, how to develop a family emergency plan, and what to put in an emergency kit. Fire Department Staff and Emergency Services Personnel will be on hand from 10am-2pm to answer questions and provide information and brochures.
“Join Club Cre8’s Rachel Butterworth and Sadie Rosgen from Tunnel Theatre company for three days of singing, drama, poetry and movement workshops. Suitable for children aged 7-13, the three day workshop this Spring Break will take place in the Arts Station theatre and culminate in a fun, scratch performance on the Wednesday late afternoon.
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, 9-4pm
$195, or 295 for two siblings.
Includes three days of professional arts teaching, 18 hours!”
