Fernie Nordic Society (winter seasons) is looking for volunteers. Trail Ambassadors, Events, and Bunny and Jack Rabbit programs. If you want to be involved, email info@fernienordic.com.

Fernie Museum
Get involved, meet new people, learn about local history and make a difference in your community. Whether behind the scenes or working with visitors, there are many opportunities for volunteering at the Fernie Museum. Just call 250-423-7016 and add your name and contact info to our volunteer list!

 

Sparwood Food Bank
Pack hampers for those in need at the Sparwood Food Bank – if interested, call Carol at 250- 425-6435.

Fernie OPT Clinic
Come and volunteer for the Fernie OPT Clinic. OPT volunteers are passionate about sexual and reproductive health. They are supportive and believe in choice. They believe in people’s right to make informed decisions. They are comfortable talking about sexual health topics. They are good communicators, reliable, committed and non judgmental.

Come into the Fernie Women’s Centre at 691 4th Ave or call 250-423-4687 for more information about becoming a volunteer at the Fernie clinic.

Friends of the Fernie Heritage Library
Volunteer with the Friends of the Fernie Heritage Library – The Friends will be looking after the garden, fund raising, assisting with book sales, etc.  Come to the library for more details or to join.

Fernie and District Search and Rescue
Any Search and Rescue organization has a need for volunteers of differing skills and not all involve going out in the field participating in a search or rescue; if you do not want to be out in the field do not think this means we do not need you.
