Behind The Scene Art Show On Saturday, March 28th

behind the scene art show in fernie bc

Behind the Scene will be displaying some really fantastic artists that you, most likely, haven’t seen before. A great opportunity to see some original pieces and meet the artists or grab a cool handmade necklace. I should have a couple of my life drawings on display, as well. Exciting night! I hear there’s another art show going on that night but I don’t know the details of that just yet. Could be a fun art show hopping night!

The Project Room- A little string and and a little goo goes a long way!

By Athena Knibbs

I have a really outdated chandelier and really don’t have my priorities straight….I would rather spend money on fabric than on things like fixtures and other such things. So when I saw this hanging light made out of string and wall paper glue I wanted to share it with you all.
Here is the link to Pickle’s tutorial. It looks pretty simple!

A Little Bit Of Everything Xmas Market

Crowsnest Mountain Resort
The “A Little Bit Of Everything” Xmas Market at Crowsnest Mountain Lodge on December 5th from 11 am to 4 pm will be my answer to wanting another Craft Market…since I failed to purchase handmade Christmas items for friends and family at the previous Craft Market.

I’ll be there selling my Two Owls Collect Stationery (some fun new designs), recycled notebooks and sharing a table with Tristen Perras and her lovely toques, headbands and jewelry. Keya White and her buttons, books and stationery will have a table – and I’m not sure who else. There may be more Fernie representatives but I’m also excited to see what others are making in the Coleman area.

Never been to Crowsnest Mountain Lodge? Me neither – 101 Wolfstone Drive, 3km west of Coleman, AB on Hwy 3, Coleman, Alberta.
