DREAMS OF SNOW COME TRUE AT FERNIE ALPINE RESORT WITH KOKANEE SNOW DREAMS!
Fernie, BC – January 18, 2011 – Kokanee Snow Dreams will return to Fernie Alpine Resort for the 7th Annual celebration on Saturday January 29, 2011. Over 5m of snow has fallen this season and traditionally, the Griz rewards Fernie Alpine Resort with fresh pow at Kokanee Snow Dreams. Voted one of the BEST deck parties in all of North America by Ski Canada Magazine! The snow dancing will be amplified with the help from two Rocswell DJ’s along with Harvey J. from Broken Toyz on the drums, performing both in the Plaza for the afternoon and in the Griz Bar at night. Glacier Cold Kokanee being served in both the beer gardens and Griz Bar, photos with the Glacier Girls, and the possibility of sighting the elusive Kokanee Sasquatch! Join us in the Plaza in the afternoon for activities such as the FERNIE FAMOUS HULA-HOOP CONTEST and the ever popular, ever hilarious SASQUATCH MATING CALL. Come back to the Griz Bar at night for a true après experience and party the night away in the official Hot Tub Time Machine Party Location!

Noon – Kokanee Beer Gardens OPEN!
2:30pm – Games in the Plaza including the return of the Fernie Famous Hula Hoop Contest, the return of the Sasquatch Mating Call and a NEW addition: Untie the Rope game…
3:00pm to 5:00pm – Rocswell DJ’s & Harvey J from Broken Toyz in the Plaza
7:00pm – 7th Annual Kokanee Snow Dreams Party in the GRIZ BAR (watch out for V.I.P passes handed out during the day for No Line Ups).

Fernie Trails and Ski Touring Club Presents the Porky Blue Ride and Pig Roast. Ride 25km of singletrack, from Coal Creek Summit, with 1000m vertical descent back to Fernie. Pig Roast and Beer Garden at the Fernie Hotel to follow.
