Sparwood Coal Miner Days in Sparwood from June 10th to the 13th is a big event for this little town. The whole community gets involved and, judging by the schedule, it’s a really good time!

This is the intense SCMD schedule:

Thursday, June 10th

Friday, June 11th

9:30 am – 5:00 pm  Blue Water Day Activities – RBC @ Royal Bank in Sparwood

4:00 pm – 6:00 pm  Bike Rodeo – Teck & RCMP – Arena parking lot
4:00 pm – 9:00 pm  Inflatables for Kids – EKCCU & CMD Society – Curling Rink
4:00 pm – 11:30 pm   BBQ sponsored by Sparwood Search & Rescue – behind Curling Rink
5:00 pm – 10:00 pm  Coal Miner Cup Ball Hockey Tournament – Arena
5:00 pm – 9:00 pm  Brewer’s Hardball Tournament – Mountain View

• 12:30 pm – 4:30 pm    1st Annual Demolition Derby – pits across from Titan on Hwy 3
