The annual Light Up The Night at Fernie Courthouse is happening on Friday, November 30th. It’s a night to meet your local hockey team, Fernie Ghostriders, and eat free hotdogs and get a picture with Santa (bring your camera). It’s from 5:30-8 and I hope it’s a nice evening! Any chance we have to get outside, eat hotdogs and play hockey together, we will celebrate it!

Did You Know : Light Up The Night In Fernie BC
From City of Fernie’s website:
Join us as we kick off the holiday season and ‘Light Up The Night’ at the Fernie Courthouse on December 6th, 2017.
Stop by between 4pm and 7pm as we flick on the festive lights on the Courthouse grounds.
The evening fun will feature a Ghostriders Hockey Team pep rally, entertainment, food, fires and an opportunity to get your photo taken with Santa.
Bring your skates and enjoy skating on the outdoor ice rink (weather dependent) that will be built on the west lawn for the event!

Our Halloween Weekend
Rod and I aren’t much for getting dressed up all slutty like and calling it a costume (I’m just kidding, we love it. we just thought we’d save it for Christmas) but we did enjoy carving faces in our pumpkins, roasting the innards and visiting Eric and TP for a bonfire/bbq/dominos night.
On my way back from a meeting I found these carved pumpkins at the courthouse.
