My next possible gift is still in brainstorming. I need to figure out how to put money into something that makes me no money. Tricky stuff!
Hearth 6: Annual Holiday Sale!
Featuring the finely crafted work of 6 local artists. Leanne Stothert Painting, Michael Hepher of Clawhammer Press, Janet McIntyre jewelry, Katherine Russell blown and fused glass, Holly Kimola of Holly Horses leather and lamps and Sarah Pike Pottery!
Every year we empty out our house of furniture and turn our home into a cozy pop up gallery. We call it Hearth, because we have the woodstove burning, the mulled wine brewing and along with offering up some excellent gift buying opportunities, we hope to evoke that sense of gathering around the fire on a winter evening with friends.
We are so looking forward to this sale and hope to see you there. Dec 2nd and 3rd, 4-8pm both nights!
Friday, December 2nd and Saturday 3rd
4 – 8 pm
1480 McDonald Ave, Fernie
I like them all. I’m mostly attracted to the white, black and red but the orange and grey one is pretty sweet too. Ahhh and then there’s the burgundy and aqua. hmmmm.
And I don’t even ski! I think I just really love toques. I like toques like some people loves shoes. I want one of those toque displays in retail shops in my basement.
ColourMe Fernie is offering personalized comics! Enough said. How amazing is that?! I need to figure out what adventure my two kids are going to go on and wait not so patiently to see what Pru comes up with.
The annual local art exhibit and sale, On Fire 102, at The Arts Station is opening tonight, November 25th at 7 pm. All artwork is on sale for $102 or less, which is a pretty darn good deal for original art.
You can go to The Arts Station during business hours and see what’s on display until December 22nd, 2010.
