This sunday starting at 10 am there is going to be something called Bippity Boppity Boo Children’s Festival and Fernie Farmer’s Market at Rotary Park this Sunday.

From the event page “With balloons, bubbles, dancing and more, this festival will offer hours of fun for the whole family, plus include inspiring live performances and engaging kid crafts, sprinklers, crafts, and piles of circus inspired fun.

This event is brought to you by the Fernie Heritage Library, and Fernie Mountain Market.”

Wapiti Is Fast Approaching

Have you listened to the bands yet? Out of the 11 bands I’ve only heard of 3 of them. Here are the some videos so you can also learn some songs to sing-a-long to, because it’s always better when you recognize the music. Saying that, last year’s Twin Peaks blew me away and I had never heard a single song of theirs. Who’s going to be the stand out this year, I wonder to myself. So far I’m feeling this Yes We Mistic song.

Art Expo Voting Begins

The lucky winner of the most votes gets $200! I could use that money to buy loads of groceries that would last about 3 days in this household.

Place your vote here and send that person home from Wapiti Music Festival (where the original artwork will be on display) with a couple bags of groceries!

The Traveller At Wapiti Music Festival

The Traveller, an illustrated story at Wapiti Music Festival

Wapiti Music Festival is more than just music. Don’t ya know. I’ll be debuting my new story for the 2017 WonderWalk at Wapiti. It’s not necessarily a headliner, it’s Tokyo Police Club, but The Traveller will be on the grounds in Annex Park just waiting to be read while you mosey around waiting for the next band to play. You might even enjoy it!
